This shopping centre is within walking distance from my place and it's a fantastic spot for my young family. We often stroll over for dinner, shopping, or to let the kids burn off some energy! I adore the mix of new and established stores, and the craft markets and events are always a hit with us.
Maria Kim (9/2/25, 8:41 PM):
This mall is absolutely lifeless, with only a few noteworthy stores bothering to have their own separate entrances.
Austin Morris (9/2/25, 12:32 PM):
There weren't many shopping options available, and the stores were somewhat peculiar.
Arthur Cooper (9/1/25, 10:32 PM):
The proprietors of Mendenhall should consider hiring a proper security guard, rather than someone who appears to be homeless and dons a security baseball cap. One might wonder where this individual was when the men's restroom was being set ablaze.
Allison Anderson (8/31/25, 11:33 PM):
This shopping mall is not ideal for those of us who are on the larger side and in need of more size options.
Patrick Fisher (8/27/25, 10:56 AM):
It's high time for older shopping malls to make a grand return, don't you think? Plus, they offer us a cozy sanctuary to shop and stroll away from the rain!
Lawrence Gutierrez (8/27/25, 1:32 AM):
You should check out the new milkshake spot over yonder. Udder Culture is a fantastic choice for a midday meal.
Carol Wright (8/26/25, 12:21 PM):
This shopping mall is quite the discovery! It offers a delightful array of stores that I never knew Juneau had, such as a charming flower shop, a wonderful bead store, and even a Christian bookstore. I couldn't help but be pleasantly surprised by the diverse range of offerings here.
Nicole Barnes (8/25/25, 4:18 PM):
This shopping center ain't exactly a sprawling metropolis mall with all them big box stores like Target, Macy's, and Trader Joe's. But hey, it does the job for a little ol' town like Juneau, where the population ain't even crackin' 40,000.
Lawrence Reyes (8/25/25, 2:45 PM):
I popped into the Northland Bible Church at the mall annex on Sunday, June 25th. It's a splendid church that has been gathering in this annex for quite a few years. The folks there are a delight and the sermons are straight from the Good Book. All are welcome to join and connect with amiable individuals who will greet you with open arms.
Johnny Gray (8/25/25, 8:26 AM):
The Mendenhall Mall underwent a change in ownership back in 2020. Since then, the mall has been completely revamped and has returned to its former glory as a thriving community shopping center. It now offers a diverse range of retail stores and a delightful array of dining options. However, historical reviews from the pre-existing management era still influence the overall ratings. I personally refrained from visiting this establishment for quite some time due to its previous dilapidated state. Witnessing such remarkable progress is truly heartening! With the evolving landscape of post-pandemic retail, one can only hope that things will continue to improve for independent businesses. The Mendenhall Mall is reminiscent of a picturesque Main Street, both inside and outside, braving any weather conditions with charm and grace!
Brittany Morris (8/23/25, 1:45 PM):
Lovely little shopping mall with just the right amount of stores for a pleasant afternoon of browsing.
Jessica Green (8/23/25, 4:12 AM):
This shopping mall has one of the most extensive selections of international produce in the area, and their produce sales are simply amazing! 😍😍😍
Aaron Perry (8/23/25, 12:36 AM):
After nearly shutting down, it's great to see shops moving back in.
Peter Thomas (8/19/25, 7:51 AM):
The sole spot in this city that dedicates the effort to craft traditional jojo's (potato wedges).
Donald Coleman (8/18/25, 8:51 PM):
The mall is quite peaceful. Several stores have moved out, but hopefully, more businesses will come aboard soon.
Doris Bailey (8/18/25, 6:41 AM):
This mall has a little bit of everything for everyone. I've been coming here since I was a wee lad. Now I'm a grown-up and I'm not changing my ways! I'm an adult, I'll do as I please!
Andrew Kim (8/16/25, 10:05 AM):
This shopping center is like a massive strip mall without the dancers.
Alexander Cruz (8/12/25, 12:07 PM):
There be a fantastic Hawaiian/Samoan food emporium and also the Verizon store in this shopping mall.
Johnny Gonzales (8/12/25, 8:15 AM):
These chicken wings are absolutely dreadful - not even the crows would touch them with a ten-foot pole!
