I must say, the shopping mall offers a splendid array of stores. Definitely worth exploring and supporting local businesses!
Ruth Hill (8/12/25, 5:02 AM):
I usually go to superbear, but it's enjoyable to stroll around the shopping mall.
Alice Henderson (8/11/25, 11:20 PM):
Quite dull, innit? Requires more shops, otherwise utterly pointless and a squandering of space.
Bobby Kim (8/10/25, 12:01 AM):
Fantastic shopping centre filled with wonderful local businesses.
Christina Sanchez (8/6/25, 2:11 PM):
I absolutely love our Mendenhall Mall. The local vendors they bring in during the holiday season are just fantastic! :)
Jerry Gray (8/4/25, 10:10 AM):
This older shopping mall may not be the trendiest, but you can't go wrong with the grocery store, IGA. Their meat department is top-notch!
Charles Jenkins (8/4/25, 2:25 AM):
Top-notch meat selection in this town... The staff is absolutely fantastic...
Jean Nguyen (8/4/25, 1:40 AM):
The shopping mall has seen quite the transformation with plenty of fresh stores added to the mix. Even some of the longstanding ones have undergone expansions and a swanky makeover. Quite the upgrade, I must say!
Marilyn Hill (8/3/25, 9:09 AM):
Great remodeling job, really brings the shopping mall up to date and makes it easier to navigate and find items.
Billy Ford (8/1/25, 11:12 PM):
It's a lovely place to shop and relax. However, the prices are a bit steep, especially when it comes to food.
Melissa Carter (7/30/25, 3:32 PM):
Each shopping center in Juneau possesses its own specialty (except for Safeway - avoid that place) and Superbear truly excels in meat and seafood. A few weeks back, a craving for a Mediterranean-style octopus salad struck me - but where could I find an octopus? "Superbear will have them," I confidently declared, and indeed they did, and at a discounted price. Their butcher section is excellent, prices are fair, and the quality and freshness are top-notch. It may be a smaller market than what you're accustomed to if you come from the continental U.S., and sometimes I can't tick off everything on my list there, but when it comes to meat and seafood, Superbear reigns supreme.

Moreover, I believe Foodland takes the crown for its produce selection, but Superbear absolutely excels in its presentation of produce. The carrots are always meticulously stacked, the lemons perfectly arranged... the produce manager here clearly takes pride in his work.
Eugene Moore (7/30/25, 1:41 AM):
The Mendenhall Mall is quite tidy and user-friendly, the shops within are quaint and many are a delight to explore.
Deborah Peterson (7/24/25, 4:39 PM):
There ain't much goin' on here. I personally dig Super Bear, Asiana Gifts, and Udder Culture. However, I still haven't had a chance to check out the new Poke etc... spot.
Arthur Moore (7/23/25, 11:51 AM):
This quaint shopping mall in the small town offers a delightful assortment of goods to peruse. Additionally, they host charming craft fairs periodically, adding to the unique shopping experience.
Mark Hayes (7/21/25, 12:33 PM):
This strip mall is lacking in stores, and to my surprise, Sears is nowhere to be found. I'm only giving it one star because I couldn't figure out how to give a negative rating.
Logan Martin (7/20/25, 11:48 PM):
The store is much fancier now that they've had a makeover inside. The prices are pretty decent too.
Jonathan Watson (7/20/25, 9:53 AM):
It's a bit premature to give them an accurate rating at this point.
Samantha Reyes (7/19/25, 12:54 PM):
It's splendid to have a quaint little grocer in the Valley. It warms the heart to support our local establishments. It's truly marvelous to witness them thriving after so many years.
Debra Henderson (7/17/25, 7:04 PM):
Discovered some goodies that we couldn't find at Safeway or Costco!
Allison Long (7/16/25, 1:41 PM):
So many amazing shops at the mall! Had a spot of lunch, picked up some booze for the cruise, and popped into the grocery store as well. Great day out!
