The chaps who managed the grub were brilliant...but blimey, when I rang up earlier in the day, the lady was positively TERRIBLE!! It's a shame to be made to feel like she reckons she's above me. Her words and demeanor could push someone right over the edge. PLEASE BE KIND
Gary Hayes (6/21/25, 7:15 AM):
They are remarkable individuals with a deep spiritual connection that is truly unparalleled. Many thanks indeed.

Blood and Fire, and most especially Carrie; I want to offer my deepest gratitude for your assistance in securing my apartment. I do not expect anything in return from anyone. I have always been a hard worker since birth. Before the eyes of God himself, I can confidently affirm, Carrie, that the physical labor I have endured over 40 years, working grueling 12-hour shifts, 7 days a week, once for 22 consecutive weeks until the pain became unbearable in my arms, surpasses any efforts made by others.
Three days ago, I reached out to you seeking aid in obtaining food, as I currently have none. It is a humbling and distressing experience to ask for help when I have always been self-reliant. I must express my gratitude for the complete disregard and contempt with which you have treated me throughout this ordeal.
If this is the representation of your interpretation of Christianity (and I refrain from delving into what Jesus preached about withholding judgment and showing mercy to the less fortunate), then I opt out. Simply labeling oneself as a Christian does not automatically align one's actions with the teachings of Christ. May God bless you. Lily

They purport to offer assistance with housing and transportation to work, but they refuse to provide rides after curfew (10:00pm). Additionally, if you acquire a vehicle for yourself, they threaten to tow it unless it is registered and insured under your name... What a disappointing organization. There is a lack of management - obese individuals relying on social security reside here. Quite the helping spirit, don't you think?
Rose Powell (6/14/25, 7:22 AM):
Lovely program. It helps a lot of folks with groceries, bills, and even housing costs.
Amy Ramos (6/13/25, 8:41 PM):
This organization has been an absolute blessing to us during the winter season, providing transportation for our family. We feel truly grateful for this gift from Jesus!
Roger Nguyen (6/13/25, 1:03 AM):
This organization is truly brilliant. They support so many people - not only through the food bank, but also by providing help to find suitable housing. The individuals involved have such kind hearts and are truly authentic to the core.
Marilyn Bennett (6/10/25, 12:29 AM):
I volunteer at this place, and let me tell you, they are incredibly helpful. There is always an abundance of food ready to go. You can swing by on Wednesdays and Fridays from 2-5 to pick up some food. All you need is a photo ID and to complete a quick form. You have to reside in the valley, and you can visit twice a month. They even offer pet food as well.
Brandon Lopez (6/9/25, 4:58 PM):
It has been such an uplifting experience receiving assistance from the Blood and Fire Service, and Carrie is truly amazing. My entire family adores her. She is a remarkable lady. Thank you, Blood and Fire, for being there for my family and me when we needed your services. God bless you, Blood and Fire Ministries.
Donald Baker (6/9/25, 3:14 AM):
I am positive that this is a wonderful initiative to assist individuals. However, I have noticed that their website is not up to date regarding their business hours, and they are closed on the days they indicate as open. Even reaching out to them via phone does not appear to bring clarity. This situation is not very supportive of their mission.
