Father Lewe is truly a remarkable priest. I spent 3 hours in deep conversation with him, and he helped me see the path to reconciliation within my family. In fact, I was moved to go to confession for the first time in 50 years after our discussion. He has a unique gift for guiding souls towards healing and peace.
Ethan Reyes (7/9/25, 2:28 PM):
I may be a bit generous with the stars I'm giving because, bloody hell, they're never open. I don't know what's happened, but somewhere along the line, churches have decided to just shut their doors tight. They used to be open even when there wasn't a service happening. I don't see why they have to close up shop by 3. That's far too early to be locking up. They should at least stay open until 8. The doors should remain unlocked until 8, in case people want to pop in and say a prayer alone. That's all I'm saying. I'd sure love to take a gander inside, but I've yet to make it there before they close!

The traffic signal on Route 1 needs to be adjusted to a regular (three-color) light to manage the flow of church traffic.

I recently attended a funeral service at the local Catholic church and I must say, the priest was incredibly compassionate and understanding. Not only that, but he also had a remarkable singing voice, which added a special touch to the service. The entire ceremony was truly beautiful, and the organist played with such skill and emotion. It was a moving experience that will stay with me for a long time.

We've been coming to this church every summer and sometimes during other occasions in the past few years. It's quite roomy but always busy and bustling, so it's best to arrive early if you want a seat, especially on holidays. The ushers are really accommodating and the parishioners are welcoming.

I had the pleasure of attending a wedding vow renewal ceremony for my dear friends Henry & Ann McGough at the Catholic church. Father Brian Lewis officiated the ceremony with great skill and grace. After the service, he joined us for dinner and I had the opportunity to chat with him. I thanked him for his wonderful service and enjoyed our conversation. It was refreshing to see a young, enthusiastic priest so full of love, energy, and passion for our Lord and Savior. Father Lewis is truly dedicated to serving the church and is a blessing to all who know him.
