Michael Wade Messick is laid to rest at Bethel Cemetery in Seaford, Delaware, alongside his brother Dennis. Michael peacefully passed away in his sleep at our home on January 31, 2013.

I find it quite remarkable that such a tiny rural church would invest the effort and resources needed to preserve a cemetery with such a long history. It truly demonstrates the level of respect that the church holds for the local community. While I do not have any family members laid to rest in this particular cemetery, if I did, I would be grateful for the attention and care they receive. The church immediately caught my eye as I passed by, thanks to its well-maintained appearance. Kudos to the pastor and church leaders for their outstanding work in preserving this charming little church.
