Such a welcoming atmosphere! There's truly something to cater for everyone's tastes. I thoroughly enjoy the worship sessions, while my children are fans of the dynamic youth group activities. I've also heard great things about the traditional gatherings featuring hymns. The biblical teachings are truly enriching. Highly recommended!

This place is truly captivating for the community. With its various groups, it effectively prepares you for life and propels you towards the next mission that God has in store for you.
Abigail Williams (7/18/25, 12:56 PM):
I must say, the church I visited recently was extremely focused on material possessions. The topic of donating money seemed to dominate the conversation, with the notion that giving generously was the key to deepening one's connection with God. It left me feeling rather unsettled.
Kevin Alexander (7/18/25, 9:54 AM):

Samuel Ford (7/16/25, 6:27 AM):
There was this woman and her husband at the church who made me feel very uncomfortable! She kept approaching me and staring, even going as far as bumping into me with her butt intentionally. She was a large white lady, and her husband was skinny. They seemed like they were regular attendees. The pastor was pressuring everyone to donate money during the service, which was all about money. I have never experienced such behavior in a place where we are meant to worship God.
Russell Ford (7/11/25, 3:46 AM):
Fairbanks First Assembly truly stands out as the warmest congregation I've ever had the pleasure of visiting. The vibe there is all about inclusivity, happiness, and vitality! What I find particularly special about FB1st is its diverse mix of cultures and people from different age groups. It's an absolute joy to be a member of this church community!
Mark Jenkins (7/10/25, 10:55 PM):

Barbara Parker (7/10/25, 12:24 PM):
I've been living in Fairbanks for 5 years now, along with my husband. We tried attending several churches, but never quite felt like we belonged until we made the decision to stay home and listen to various preachers online. However, we started to miss the fellowship of fellow believers and the opportunity to share the talents that the Lord has blessed us with. That's when my husband and I decided to give Fairbanks 1st AG Church a try.

From the moment we walked in, we felt a sense of familiarity as everyone greeted us with warm hellos and genuine interest in how we were doing. It was as if they already knew us and welcomed us with open arms. The worship service was truly beautiful, led by the pastor's wife and the pastor himself. As my husband aptly put it, "the pastor is human," he talks, jokes, and makes you feel like he's just one of us.

We are incredibly thankful to God for guiding us to this amazing community of His children at Fairbanks 1st AG Church!
Kimberly Campbell (7/9/25, 6:09 PM):
This church offers the most uplifting Sunday services and the most engaging youth and young adult gatherings! The pastors are absolutely fantastic! Their wisdom is truly remarkable, and they make a genuine effort to connect with and support each individual. I truly appreciate that! Without a doubt, the finest church in all of Alaska!
Terry Nelson (7/9/25, 4:00 AM):

Since I started attending this church and welcoming God into my life, everything has changed for the better. It has been a truly amazing experience.
Doris Graham (6/28/25, 3:27 PM):
Experience a divine encounter at this church overflowing with the power of the Holy Spirit!
Daisy Baker (6/27/25, 12:10 PM):
I understand that churches may have their imperfections, but I noticed they had a woman preaching. According to the Bible, it states, "I do not permit a woman to teach or to assume authority over a man; she must be quiet." (1 Timothy 2:12)

Aside from that observation, I believe the church is doing well!
Allison Cook (6/27/25, 4:08 AM):
What a fantastic church! The presence of the Holy Spirit is truly powerful, and the sermons are always clear and engaging. The pastor is simply wonderful.
John Rodriguez (6/26/25, 7:30 PM):
Upon arriving in Fairbanks last autumn, our family's inaugural Sunday at the church left us convinced that this was the place for us. The fresh pastoral team is truly remarkable! The children's programs are delightful, and the Sunday morning worship and teachings are simply outstanding. Even my teenagers are enamored with the youth gatherings on Sunday evenings. Do give it a look and experience it firsthand...you'll be hooked for life!
