The maintenance and office staff are quite friendly, I must say. The housing quality is average, though I fear the prices are a tad bit steep for what you get. It wouldn't hurt to have better insulation to combat the harsh winters and summers, if you ask me.

Absolutely dreadful experience, wouldn't even suggest on-base housing to a homeless soul. I'm presently expecting a baby, and there's this foul stench resembling that of a deceased creature, making it unbearable to even breathe, let alone stay or reside in the house. I've contacted them at least 5 times, and they haven't taken any action. Not to mention, whenever there's an issue, they either mark it as resolved without doing anything, don't show up, or arrive whenever they please. It's truly disgusting, and I wouldn't wish this upon anyone else, especially a family with young ones.

For military families with children, this property offers a reasonable living option. However, if you are single or without children, it might be more economical to seek housing off-base. The residences are spacious and aesthetically pleasing. Nonetheless, the management's practices during move-out are questionable. The charges incurred were far higher than expected, with every detail meticulously scrutinized. For instance, a small paint mark on the garage floor led to an excessive cleaning fee. Despite the attractive price for larger families, I would hesitate to recommend this place due to these overbearing management tactics.

I’m soon to be pcsing but this was my first time living on base and it was absolutely brilliant. I had a great home before this and was worried about adjusting, but it turned out to be a real blessing! I opted for junior enlisted housing and saved some money. The maintenance team was always fantastic and quick to fix any issues we had. Overall, I would definitely recommend living here. The only downside was the frequent changes in the front office staff, and with Covid, I think there were some misunderstandings in emails and letters. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A PREINSPECTION BEFORE YOU DEPART NO MATTER WHAT. They tried to charge me over $500 for cleaning fees/damages.

I rang up on Thursday because I was unsure if an outlet was functioning. It was a bit tricky to adjust the urgency of the problem through the app, so we had to ring up to get it bumped up to an emergency status. The chaps arrived within an hour or so, identified the issue, although regrettably it couldn't be sorted out until the next day. I did have to check in for an estimated time of arrival, but he eventually showed up, fixed it, and now I can use the outlet as needed. Absolutely delighted!

If you're married and both serving in the military, I wouldn't recommend it. Married to a non-serving spouse? I wouldn't recommend it. Single? I still wouldn't recommend it. The only positive aspect of my stay here was the proximity to the base.
Let me be clear, the staff is friendly. I have a soft spot for Tammie. However, I can't vouch for the rest. They take messages but often fail to deliver them to the intended recipient. So, you end up having to follow up with another call anyway.
The fees upon moving out are excessive. I'm certain I was charged for replacing light bulbs that had simply burned out... truth be told, I doubt I'll ever choose on-base housing again, even if I get relocated.

A rather agreeable location to reside if you prefer proximity to your workplace and have young ones. The school is top-notch, and the facilities are quite impressive. However, a recurring issue I've encountered is the less-than-satisfactory landscaping services provided by the company responsible for mowing the lawns.

I must say, mate, it's best to live off base, trust me. The homes on base are decent, I suppose, but you can snag much larger, more beautiful homes off base for a better price. Plus, you'll actually be investing in something rather than just throwing your dosh away. And when it's time to move out, you'll want to do everything in your power to avoid owing any money. They might say you'll get a letter in the post within 14 days, but then end up charging you a grand without even giving you a heads up until they shoot you an email eight months later, talking about sending you to collections. And good luck trying to get in touch with them via email or phone – they might not respond for a good two to five months. Right dodgy, innit? Trust me, mate, just go ahead and live off base.

The one thing that really bothers me is the inability to work on my car inside my personal garage. There are plenty of apartments around that allow you to tinker with your car as long as you ensure everything is left in its original state. I prefer to have the freedom to work on my car at my own place. If the suggestion is to use the hobby shop, I would rather find a different apartment. These properties are overrun, excessively expensive, and it truly makes me question how civilians can reside here when it could be better utilized by active duty military personnel.
